I won my first Urban Decay Lipstick!

I was lucky enough to win a gorgeous giveaway a week or two ago. The giveaway was held by the lovely Rebecca from Ohkalukalay – go take a peek at her lovely blog! Right from the start I had my eyes set on prize – I really wanted to win as this would be my first ‘real’ Urban Decay product! Wait, whhaaat!?

I was a frequent-twitter-bunny and tweeted away. So when I got the news, I was kind of freaking out! This totally made my week – more like year! Now the time had come for me to pick a colour, which was the hardest decision EVER! I googled for swatches. Originally I had eyed F-Bomb and Catfight but when I then came to think.. I have lots of lipsticks like F-Bomb and Streak looked so gorgeous and I had nothing like it in my collection, so I  just had to have it. I will do a review on the lipstick – but as far as I know a the moment, I need to get my hands in one.. maybe two or three? more. Catfight is still on the top of my list.

Well this Friday I got a parcel and I was sooo curious on what, when and who it was from, so I ripped the outside paper like a child who just got her first Christmas present – you could tell I was excited! And as I came closer and closer to the ‘real’ packaging I saw this gorgeous present – it’s a beaut!

Inside the present was a handwritten card from Rebecca wishing me congrats on winning – beautiful handwriting lovely! Then I saw the chocolate! This Christmassy beaut of a chocolate (it’s gone now and tasted delish) And then.. Then I saw the lipstick! I ripped the packaging *gently this time* and then I saw a beaut of a lipstick. At first I was worried about how pink it was, but on the lips it’s a perfect pinky-coral!

Thank you so much for this lovely present! Your next giveaway winners have something good in store as this was so personal and it made my day <3

Have you tried any of the Revolution Lipsticks from Urban Decay? Yes, which colour then?

Lots of love

Mini Haul // Feel Unique

As I wrote in my last post (here) bloggers can be such enablers! All of these purchases in this mini haul is because of beauty bloggers. I’ve been wanting a Maybelline Color Tattoo for ages – absolutely ages – but the colour selection here sucks! There’s is not one colour I would consider purchasing, except for the turquoise one but that would only be for the fun of a bright colour. I’ve been really down over the fact that I didn’t have any of them in my make up collection so when I had to pick up the L’ORÉAL Paris Skin Perfection 3 in 1 Purifying Micellar Solution for the second time *re-purchase* I had to take a peek at the colour selection. And man I was happy when I saw the colours – I debated weather or not to pick up the Pink Gold or this Metallic Pomegranate so I had to ask on twitter and you guys said the Metallic Pomegranate and so it became mine. It’s a gorgeous purple-ly berry colour – if that makes sense? It has some pretty golden glitter particles with gives it that extra UMF.

There have been loads of hype around the Rimmel London Moisture Renew Lipsticks and their new formulation. I had to see what the hype was all about and when I saw SugarfixxBeauty tweeted about her purchase I knew that I needed one in my life, the question now was – what colour to choose!? Then a couple of days after Katie’s tweet, Viviannadoesmakeup used In Love With Ginger in her Makeup Menu Video I knew right there and then that I needed this colour in my life! Such enablers!

As for Feel Unique goes I was one of the unlucky ones who had to pay import duty – fortunately they are suppose to be open and willing to pay the duty back and I’m working on that! I love Feel Unique’s site and if I get my money back – I will not hesitate to do some more online shopping on there 🙂

Have you tried any of these products? & have you done some online shopping lately too?

Lots of love

Haul // ELF Cosmetics

Hi lovely ladies and occasional guys! Today I have an exciting post for you. Lately ELF Cosmetics have had loads of different discounts, secret present and then they started having a sale-sale! This sale was what caught my attention. They had a 60 % of everything including already discounted products. This made my woot woot and I got all excited. The llittle shopping meltdown turned into this haul. Some of the products I’m SO excited to show you!

As you can see there are A LOT of products and I am really excited to try all of them out! I have done some swatches and tried some of the products and they are all promising. I thought I would just show you all the products without much explanation and text as this post will otherwise get really loooong. Don’t get me wrong I like to write and read long posts but this would kind of be too long in my opinion. So hope you are OK with that decision. I’m definitely going to do some reviews and if you have any specific products you would like to see a review of first, just let me know by tweeting or write a comment below.

To end this post I wanted to show you my Top 3 Products that I am most excited for. The first one is the Cream Eyeliner in Purple! Yes I bought a purple eyeliner. I LOVE my Maybelline gel eyeliner which I use almost every day but lately I have really wanted to jazz it up a bit and I thought a purple eyeliner would do that. It would really complement my eyes too as I have brown eyes. The next two products are some I saw Tanya Burr use in her old $20 Makeup Challenge video. The first one is this lovely little Eyeshadow Quad in Day 2 Night. She chose this one because the top right colour reminded her of MAC Satin Taupe and the look she created with this quad was just gorgeous – hopefully I can create something like it 😉 The last product is a little gem and may I just say OH LORD this is beautiful. This is a Blush in Pink Passion and it looks kind of scary, but it is a beautiful barbie pink colour that just makes you look fresh and summer-y. I can’t wait to use this one as I’m really blown away by the colour.

Hope you liked my haul and do remember to let me know which product you want me to review first 🙂
Thanks so much for reading and have a beautiful day <3

Haul // My sister goes shopping

Hi girlies! Today is all about blogging for me. I’m going camping next week – first time ever so lets see how well I cope with tents and no real showers – Thank God for my dry shampoo
What my camping trip means is that I’ll try and publish posts from my phone, therefore I have to prepare some – so let the BIG blogging day begin!

My post today is another haul – wait what!? Yep, I have another haul for you guys, and I didn’t spend any pennies – again

In my last WOMF I mentioned that my sister wanted my advise on what she should buy for her voucher – so we went shopping which means a haul for you!
She had been talking about getting a new lipstick or lipgloss so I showed her my beloved Rimmel London Apocalips in Celestial, before we went into town – she loved it and we decided to pick it up for her. Celestial is a pretty pinky-nude that’s perfect for everyday use so it would be perfect for her. Unfortunately, Celestial isn’t available in Denmark so we had to pick up another colour. I purchased mine from ASOS. The one she chose was Nova which is a pink, but subtle pink so she can use it for everyday or whenever she feels like it.

Personally I’ve been lusting over these Rimmel London Salon Pro With Lycra Varnishes ever since I started seeing them in loads of youtube videos. I don’t own any of the varnishes so I definitely wanted her to try one. I showed her the range and the colour selection and told her about all of the fuzz, so she decided to try one and picked up 313 Cocktail Passion. This is a gorgeous red-ish coral that is not too bright yet not too subtle.
She had wanting to try out some eyelashes for ages and the only brand available in this store was from Depend. Now, I’m not the biggest fan of their nail varnishes, I prefer the L’Oréal Color Riche Range which is in the same price range as I find they last longer and I’m just in love with the brush. With that being said I use their eyelash glue to pop my eyelashes on with and it works fine, so we thought that they would be fun to try. It’s a Swedish brand which, in Denmark, is only sold at Matas (DK’s tinytiny answer to Boots) as far as I know. They are quite inexpensive, so if you are a first timer I think they would be great to start out with. If you want me to do a review on some, let me know in the comments 🙂
(See the eyelashes on the first photo)

She also wanted some brushes as she only own one or two. I really wanted her to get the MAC 217, as it is the best brush ever, but MAC is not available in Matas, so we went and looked at the Nilens Jord brushes, but they didn’t have any blending brushes which was what she wanted. The only other brush brand available was the M. Cosmetics, which I believe is a Danish brand, don’t hold me accountable though. They actually have a lot of different brushes in different colours too plus they are cheap, which I think is quite awesome. She picked up the Smokey Eye Brush which is blending brush and as the name says so perfectly, a perfect smokey eye brush. The other brush she picked up was the Eyeshadow/Eyebrow Brush. This is a perfect brush for when she only wants to wear eyeshadow a long the lash line.

This was my sister little haul for you guys. Let me know if you have tried any of the Nail Varnishes and which colour is your favourite? I would love to pick one up 🙂 Ah also tell me which Apocalips is your favourite, would to know course I’m that nosey 😉

Ah, and don’t forget to enter my giveaway here.

Thanks so mush for reading and have a summery day

Haul // Nicehair

Hi my lovelies!

How are you all doing? Having a nice summer with loads of tanning in the garden and cocktails? Right now I’m sitting in the garden at my dads. Can’t see anything on the screen but I love being outside, with my computer of course, so I have to suck it up. Does anyone else find it hard to see anything one the screen when you’re sitting outside?

A couple of days ago I launched my very first giveaway, if you haven’t seen it, then you should definitely take a peek here. In the giveaway I ask you to tell me what you would like me to do in future posts, and loads of you have said HAULS and I want to please you lovely readers – so here we go!

Last month, I think, I asked for your help in a Danish blogger competition – I didn’t win but I got second place! I won a voucher for DDK 250 (£29) which I could shop for on – so that’s what I did!

The first thing I just had to add to my bag was a product I had been eyeing for a while. Even though my workouts are at a minimum right now, a dry shampoo is a must in the gym bag, so I wanted to try the Batiste Dry Shampoo. It was in the sales for DDK 39 (£4.5) for the 200 ml bottle, so I thought it was pretty budget friendly. If I like it I’m definitely going to buy more and I love that it is scented. You can get a lot of different scents but I got the Sweet and Spirited one – she picks up the bottle and sprayes it to figure out the scent. Can’t describe the scent though, it’s kind of sweet and fresh.

I’ve been wanting this next product for ages but always thought it was kind of expensive then I thought of my voucher and added the Moroccan Oil Treatment to the bag. I feel like everyone have it and thinks it’s the best oil ever, so I had to see what all of the fuzz is about. I got the smallest one which I actually thought was bigger when thinking about the price DDK 119 (£14). For 25 ml it’s expensive but then I had a positive thought. It is small enough to carry it in my bag, so if I like it’s definitely going in the bag.

The last product-product is the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Deep Treatment for coloured hair. I’ve tried the normal one before and LOVED it. So I thought I would give this one a try as my hair is currently 4 colours if you count my natural hair colour that is peeking through. It was only DDK 79 (£9) which is probably quite expensive for all you UK girlies. I bought 3 Aussie products for £10 the last time I was in London. But here I saved DDK 40 (£4.6) so I’m quite happy with that. I like the packaging a lot, you just have to squeeze it out and you have the product in your hands – no need to remove any lids – easypeasy.

With these pieces added to the bag I still had DDK 13 (£1.5) left, so I had to find something cheap. Then I found some hairpins and I’m ALWAYS in need of hairpins – I think their is a evil-hairpin-fairy who steals them I bet she flyes all over the world and collects them.
I’ll probably be buying more of these as they are really good. I’ve used these a couple of times and they just stay put. They are quite amazing – wup wup, hairpin-love!

This was my haul from – A haul without spending a penny, my purse loves it.

Have you tried any of the products, what did you think? Let me know in the comments. Also if you want me to do a review on them, write it down below.

Don’t forget my giveaway – you can win a MAC lippie of your choice here.

Have a lovely day, afternoon or night <3

Showing products // L’Oréal Ever-range

Hi lovelies!

A couple of weeks ago L’Oréal Paris Denmark gave me and a lot of other L’Oreal Hair Care interested people the opportunity to review some hair care products via their Facebook page. I don’t know if it’s every L’Oreal Paris pages that does this or if it’s only Denmark, but go check their page out and sign up to become a tester! It’s really simple and hopefully you get some products – wup wup.

All of the Ever ranges is sulfate free which is great for sensitive scalps. They contain botanical oils, which gives the scent a spa-feel-scent!

Okay, so I had to choose two people to test some products too, so I chose my sister and one of my best friends. I chose these girlies because of their different hair types and because I wanted to pamper them a bit!

My sister have coloured hair which is in need of some volume. So she will be given the EverPure for coloured hair. In the EverPure range there are two different shampoos and conditioners – one that gives volume and one that moisturises. My sister will get the one that gives volume, so she can get volumlisious hair!

My friend, Camilla, have coloured hair too, but I figured that since it’s coloured blond the hair would probably be in need of some moisture. She will be given the other EverPure option. Shampoo and conditioner for coloured hair in need of moisture. So she can get some lovely moisturised healthilisious hair.

Now for me. I actually also have coloured hair but my hair is also curly and very frizzy. So the EverSleek range is the one that I will be testing! The EverSleek range is for frizzy, overworked hair. It’s suppose to smooth and intensively nourish the hair. I really hope this works, because my hair, as it is now, is really dull and frizzy. Hope I get frizzy free nourishislious hair.

So for a little bonus I received some extra products. One product from every range. The EverStrong Intensive Hair Mask for fragile brittle hair. This hair mask is for Camilla. I only have a little experience with blond hair, as my ends are blond, but they are really fragile and brittle, so since all of her hair is blond I figured this will be perfect for her.

For the EverSleek range I’m getting the Smoothing Anti-frizz Serum. After using shampoo and conditioner you take this one or two pumps of this serum and spread it through dry hair focussing on the lenghts and ends.

The next product is from the EverPure range. It’s a Lasting Moisture Leave-In Cream for coloured and dry hair. You spread it through damp or dry hair and it will leave your hair smoother and softer.

The last product is from the EverRiche range which is for dry and very dry hair. It’s a Masque Spray that will leave your hair feeling nourished and soft. You apply it after shampoo and conditioner and then rinse it out.

The last two product are undecided where they will end up – one for me and one for my sister. Think the EverRiche one will end up with my sister and the one from EverPure will end up with me for my coloured hair.

Hope you liked this post which is kind of a haul but not really. All you Danish readers go and sign up here and hopefully you’ll also get some of these products to test out 🙂

I’ll get the girls to take some pictures of their hair, so you can see the changes, if there are any. And they will of course also tell me about their experience with the products, so I can tell you guys.

Have any of you tried one or some of these products? What did you think? Have you any products that are amazing for frizzy and curly hair, please tell me in the comments below 🙂

Have a lovely day, thanks for reading!

Beauty Haul // Illamasqua

Hi my lovelies!
Long time no blogging! I wanted to do a little update. I haven’t put up a post for a while now.
I’ve been wanting to put up some post and have been planning it but I have had computer problems and an written exam report to pass in so there haven’t been time to enjoy blogging – excuses, excuses excuses.
But as you say if you don’t enjoy blogging the posts will not end up good. 😉

I’m back now with my very FIRST Illamasqua haul.

A couple of weeks ago Illamasqua hit 50,000 twitterfollowers and they did a special offer for a couple of hours only – 50 % off on everything on the Illamasqua web page. Some of you may have taken advantage of this offer too if so I would love to know what you got – link your post in the comments. Hint, hint if you want to follow me on twitter I’m @mlhauken 😉

I’d been eyeing the Nail Varnish and a Cream Blusher for a while before the offer, so these were definitely on the list! I then tweeted Illamasqua for some recommendations and ended up with a Pure Pigment and a Gleam.

NAIL VANISH IN SPECKLE £14.50 (-50% £37.25) DDK 127 / 63: Love, love, LOVE this varnish. I’ve been wanting it ever since the launch this Easter, I believe. It’s a beautiful Lilac colour with some glitter and black speckles. It’s different to any other varnishes I own. I’ve tried it once and applied it with 2 coats .. Perfect. The only downfall is trying to remove it – it is SO difficult. But I think it’s the same for every varnishes that contains glitter, speckles and so on.

CREAM BLUSHER IN DIXIE £18 (-50% £9) DDK 157 / 78:  Now, I said I’d been looking at a cream blusher for a while but I didn’t have a specific colour in mind. All I knew was that I wanted a cream blusher. I don’t know why I picked this colour, there was just something about it. It’s just beautiful and surprisingly very natural on my cheeks. I need more cream blushers in my life, they give a nice natural dewy finish, which I like.

PURE PIGMENT IN FURORE £16.50 (-50% £8.25) DDK 145 / 72: This was one of the recommendations from the Illamasqua team. It’s a beautiful metallic light brownish colour which can be used as eyeshadow but also as a high lighter. I’ve used this product the most out of all of them because it’s so wearable. I’m thinking of buying a darker colour for a smokey look.

GLEAM IN AURORA £18 (-50% £9) DDK 157 / 78: This is a cream high lighter. I usually use my e.l.f. bronzer as a high lighter but wanted to try a cream to get that more natural dewy look. Can’t wait to use it for a glowy summer look.

This was my little purchase from Illamasqua #twitter50 sale. I think I’m going to love every single one of the products. Also, I love the packaging from this brand. It’s just so feminine, pretty and different from other brands.

Let me know what you think of Illamasqua products and if you own anything I just have to have! As mentioned earlier please link your post if you did any purchases from Illamasqua 🙂

Have a beautiful day or night depending on where you’re from 😉
