Review // Skin Doctors Ingrow Go

(Skin Doctors Ingrow Go – ยฃ10.95/DKK 96,50)
Hi gorgeous! So just to warn you a bit this post is going to be about shaving and the subsequent effects – and no it is not only leg-shaving we are talking about.

A girl needs to shave and/or wax and that can sometimes leave razor bumps and ingrown hair which can be incredible painful and itchy – I should know. So when I saw a review over on In The Frow about this product, I just needed to give it ago. I bought mine on Feel Unique and the description on how it works is very informative, so here you go:

Skin Doctors Ingrow Go contains potent ingredients that have a two-way action. Firstly, it cleans out and purifies the affected pore. Next, the exfoliating action goes to work, sloughing away the dry dead skin and releasing the trapped hair. Skin is left clean, clear and silky smooth. And this is exactly how it works.

I use this little miracle worker on my armpits, in the bikini line and between my brows after a wax. The place I have to use this the most on is in the bikini line as I tend to get a lot of razor bumps and ingrown hair after shaving and this is very painful and itchy – Maybe this is TMI but you can’t say I didn’t warn you. I don’t no if you have the same problem but if you do this is a fast worker. It is suppose to work within 24 hours which is actually true – you will definitely be able to see improvement after 24 hours but totally gone? No. That will take a bit more time, depending on how affected the area is.

This works for both shaving and waxing – I use it for both. I get my brows waxed every month as they grow like a mother******, and my skin gets a bit irritated afterwards, so I simply moisten a cotton bud with Ingrow Go and apply to the affected area – in this case between brows and bikini line. You have to use this like a treatment and use it every morning and night for several days prior to waxing or shaving – and pling plang pling *Cue Tinkerbell sound* the affected area is clean and clear.

One thing you need to know though, is that is smells really medical and strong – but in a good way. It smells like it is going to work, if that makes sense? And oh, I like the price too.

Do you have the same problem as me? Do you use something to get rid of it? Yes, what? ๐Ÿ™‚

Lots of love

Review // ELF Blush in Pink Passion

Hi lovelies! Today have been a little tiring day for. I want to be more healthy and that means to change my lifestyle and diet which also means tiredness and headaches – for me at least. I’m going to do a post every month or maybe more frequently about my journey to be more healthy and losing weight. I asked on twitter the other day if you would be interested in lifestyle-weight loss-posts and I only received positive feedback! So I think I am going to do those on Wednesday’s and call them Weight loss Wednesday or something. Do tell me if you have a better name idea ๐Ÿ™‚

Well enough about that, more about it on Wednesday. So in the beginning of August, ELF had an awesome offer and I, of course, had to get my mitts in some stuff. Want to see the huge haul? Well then you have to click this little link. I wanted to do a little review on this ELF blush as many of you requested a review of it. This blush was one of the first products that I threw in my basket and the reason for that being – I saw it in a youtube video! Damn you youtube-beauty-girls/gurus! The beauty guru in particular was the oh so lovely Tanya Burr and the video was the 20 dollar makeup challenge

This ELF Blush in Pink Passion is a gorgeous barbie pink colour. At first it seems really pink and neon-like but when you swatch it, it is just so beautiful. This little gem have become one of my favourite blushes as it gives a beautiful natural flush to the cheeks. This blush in particular is not crazy pigmented but I do not mind that as it is so pink. I own two more of these blushes and they are more pigmented so I think it is because of the colour – could you imagine running around with this much pink on your cheeks? ๐Ÿ˜‰ The blush is matte but paired with the perfect highligther it is B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L. I usually reach for the ELF Baked Blush in Pinktastic – it is the perfect combo! Do let me know if you want to see a review? ๐Ÿ™‚

In terms of the packaging – I love it! It kind of reminds me of the NARS packaging, even though I don’t own anything from there, I wish I did though, – but in pictures, they look quite similar! ๐Ÿ™‚ It feels more expensive than it really is and it has a tiny mirror in the lid which is fine but it is too small for me to see anything. Can you believe that this blush only retails for ยฃ3.75 and I got it for just ยฃ1.8 with the offer!? It’s crazy.

Have you tried anything from ELF? Something I need to get my mitts on?

Have a lovely Monday evening and thanks so much for reading! <3

Review // L’Orรฉal Ever Sleek Shampoo & Conditioner

Hi lovelies! Hope you are having a fab weekend? Mine has been a relaxing one for once. Tonight I am having a night in with myself, B&J and a good chick-flick! Tomorrow is in the name of homework – unfortunately!

While listening to the rain poring down and feeling the fresh air I will now give you a review of the shampoo and conditioner I have been using and testing over the summer. In July I was lucky enough to get chosen to test out some L’Orรฉal hair care products. I have a blog post all about it here, if you haven’t read it. Well, I got quite a few products, both some for me but also some for two of my friends, so they are also testing some products out – Do let me know in the comments if you want a review from them as none of us were testing the same products.

My hair is coloured, curly and really frizzy so these bottles of goodness were perfect for my hair. I got the ones for Frizzy Overworked Hair, also called the Eversleek* range. This range is filled with botanical extract and sunflower oils which just smells lovely and stops the frizzyness. It smells really creamy – and nope you are not getting anything else out of me when it comes to the scent ๐Ÿ˜‰

The only preference I have when come to shampoo is that it have to foam – a lot. I love when shampoo foams and lathers up. Now for this shampoo it lathers up beautifully and does what it is suppose to and it smells great while doing it. As you can hear, I am more of a conditioner kind of girl. Conditioners have to really soften up my hair, give my natural curls a whirl and dim the frizzyness! This conditioner does the work. It has a creamy consistency that I haven’t seen before but I quite like it. I would recommend this shampoo and conditioner and I would definitely buy it again, but not straight away. As many other bloggers I love testing products and I have never been quite the religious-shampoo-&-conditioner-type.

Let me know if you have any recommendations to which shampoo and conditioner I should try next! I have curls and coloured ombre at the moment, and loving it!

Have a lovely weekend and Saturday night, what ever you are doing! Thanks so much for reading <3

Lot of love

Bath Review // Nivea In-Shower Body Milk Skin Conditioner

Hi girlies! May I just say that this feels really really weird! I have had to take some time of from blogging as my brain wouldn’t function and I couldn’t concentrate and I didn’t want to put up a post just to put up at post as it would probably feel forced and suck. But now I am back! I have tons of ideas for posts and feel motivated to start blogging again. I love it and I love spending time reading and writing blog posts – It is my favourite hoppy – ever
Good – let’s get going with today’s post. I have a review for you, and it is an exciting one. First of all I have to confess something to you. I DO NOT like to moisturise my body, I do it because it is necessary for my skin as it’s very dry especially my leggies but I am not a fan of it. So when I heard that Nivea had come out with a solution to my problem, I jumped on my bike and pedaled faster than you can say silky-smooth-bodaay and got my mitts in one.
This blue bottle of goodnes have saved me time and irritated times. It gives me soft and nice looking skin. It is perfect and this bottle is not going to be my last. There are some downsides to it, though. It builds up on your hands when you have applied it to your body which is a little annoying but it is not a deal breaker for me, I just take a bit of one of my scrubs and scrub it off. The other downside is that, I don’t know about you guys, but I am not a big fan off the Nivea smell. So once or twice a week I do apply some other moisturiser with a nice scent ๐Ÿ™‚
The product is a conditioner for your body, easy to apply and easy to work into your shower routine. This one is for dry skin but they also made one for normal skin. I apply this when I have conditioner in my hair. I don’t let it sit for long, I just rinse it off when I am done applying it then I get out of the shower, dry myself with a towel and I am good to go – with some clothes on of course.

Have you tried the Nivea In-Shower Body Milk Skin Conditioner?
Do let me know in the comments what you thought about it. Also let me know if there is another brand coming out with something like it, would love to try it out.
Thanks so much for reading, it is good to be back! <3

Review // Rimmel london Scandaleyes shadow

Hi girlies!

Today I have a little review for you. This morning I was applying my make up and used the Rimmel London Scandaleyes Shadow Stick in a purple shade, for a little definition on my lower lash line. I’ve never tried a shadow stick before so when these came out in Denmark, a couple of weeks ago, I had to pick some up. It was very easy to choose the first colour since I’m a neutrals girl. I picked up 003 Bad Girl Bronze which is a shimmery bronze. Even though I’m a neutrals girl I quite like the idea of a little colour now and then, so I also picked up a coloured one. I love purple, it’s my favourite colour, and since purple benefits brown eyes I had to pick up the colour 006 Paranoid Purple.

The sticks have a creamy consistency and are very buildable. Now, I haven’t tried this, but I in my opinion you can do a smokey eye with just one stick, because of the buildableness. You would apply the shadow all over the lid and blend so it doesn’t have a deep colour and then blend some in, in the crease – a couple of time, so it gets to the darker-smokey stage and lastly apply some on the lower lash line for a night-smokey-eye. Just a little thought, I think would work.

Bad Girl Bronze is great for the whole lid, for smoking out the crease and for a little definition on the under lash line. I primary use this for the whole lid and blend it out for a daytime look. I’m tempted to pick up one more neutral in the colour Bulletproof Beige which is a light, golden beige shimmer. It would be perfect for all over the lid for a light daytime look and to apply in the tear duct area to lighten up the eyes.

Paranoid Purple is a beautiful eggplant shimmery colour. Now, I wouldn’t use this for the whole lid but this is just the neutral girl in me that says no but I LOVE this colour for defining my lower lash line a bit. For other colour full looks for the summer, I’m tempted to pick up Gossip Green and Blamed Blue. Gossip Green is a mossy green colour and Blamed Blue is a bright, shimmery blue. They would be perfect for a beachy colour full summer look.

The sticks are waterproof and 24 hour wear which is perfect for beachy-summer-days. I believe that they are waterproof but not 24 hour wear, which in my opinion is fine, as I’m not going to wear these for 24 hours anyway. Saying that they are not 24 hour wear, doesn’t mean that they don’t last for a long time. I would probably say that they last for about 10-12 hours or so.

I love that the range consits of so many colours and neutrals to choose from. Everyone can find one that they like and will use. I would have loved one or two matte ones, since they are all shimmery.

As it’s the first time with eye shadow sticks for me, I can’t compare. But I really like the affect on these and find them easy to work with. They would actually be perfect to pack for a festival as they are so quick and easy to work with.

Over all for this review, you can see that I’m very positive and will probably pick some of the other colours up! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Have you tried these eyeshadow sticks? Which colour did you pick up? Have you tried any other brands, which?

Thanks for reading ๐Ÿ™‚ Have a lovely summer day!

EYE love Rimmel! .. You see what I did there? Eye, I? Yeah, you see it. Let’s get going with this post.

I don’t know about you guys but I think that Rimmel London is killing it with their products right now! I love their blushes, The Apocalips, The Wake Me Up concealer and foundation and these 2 eye products:

RIMMEL LONDON Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara: The product details you get, from Rimmel London, when you buy it says:
Our first ultra lengthening mascara that defies the laws of lash length Length that defies limits. Formula with micro-fibres-instant wow: Extends lashes by up to 99 %. Lash catching brush grabs every lash for perfect separation. No clumps!

A couple of weeks ago, when I was in the middle of getting ready for my grandparents’ 50 years wedding anniversary, my mom walked in and said: “Honey, which mascara are you using? Your lashes look so long and full. May I borrow it?” I just thought: Yes, yes, yes, it works! And she could of course borrow it ๐Ÿ˜‰

To be honest, I wasn’t that impressed by the product at first, but I think it is a product that you have to use a couple of times before you get use to it. For me, it had to dry fast out a bit before I liked it and the formula had to be worked into the lashes before you see the result.
Now, I can’t live without it. The wand is different from what I usually like. I usually go for the BIG wands. But I love that it is thinner in the end, so it catches all of the small lashes.

I don’t know if it’s just something that I imagine but I feel that my lashes have grown a bit since I started using  it. What can I say, I just really like this mascara.

RIMMEL LONDON Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Eyeliner: The product info for these is:
Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Eyeliner gives instant colour impact with it’s high intensity pigments. The ultra smooth & creamy formula glides on easily and doesn’t budget. Smudge-proof and waterproof.

When I ordered the mascara on ASOS, I was in need of some new eyeliners so bought these. It was just an impulse buy but I’m glad I did it. These are really soft but when applied they dry fast so the don’t smudge. I use the black on the upper lash line to define the eyes and the nude on the lower lash line to open up the eyes.

They are cheap, superb easy to work with and they don’t smudge! It comes in 7 different colours. I really want to try the other colours too – the Brightblue, Bronze and Deep Purple looks so nice. Take a peek here if you want to see the different colours.

All in all, I’m really impressed with these two products and I would definitely recommend them to you guys! In general, I’m really happy with Rimmel products right now!

Have you tried any of the products? What did you think? And what are your favourite products from Rimmel London right now? Let me know in the comments beelooow!

Have a nice sunny Saturday! <3

First Impression: Real Techniques – “Core Collection”

Finally, finally, FINALLY! I’m now the lucky owner of some Real Techniques brushes, and I’m so happy and excited.

I’ve been following the Pixiwoo Sisters for a looong time now, and I’ve always loved their videos. So, of course, I wanted to try these brushes by Sam Chapman (One of the sisters)

Easter came, and so did pay day. I quickly went on Look Fantastic to look and buy some brushes. One of the things I love about this site is the Free Worldwide Delivery and you get a little sample with your parcel, YES!

Let’s get going with my first impression.

REAL TECHNIQUES – Core Collection ยฃ20: You get 4 brushes as seen on the pictures and listed below and the quality of the brushes is amazing. They are really soft and seem easy to work with. Plus, I adore the design.

I decided to buy The Core Collection because of the Buffing- and Detailer Brush. I want to use the buffing brush to apply my liquid foundation as I feel that it will work the foundation flawlessly into the skin. I want to use the Detailer Brush for applying lipstick, as I need a good lip brush.

Contour Brush: Delicately applies highlighter to contour or create sheer, soft-focus finish.
Pointed Foundation Brush: Use with liquid foundation to build costum coverage.
Detailer Brush: Precision cut to effortlessly conceal problem areas; or, use with lipstick for long-lasting shape and definition.
Buffing Brush: Ideal for full coverage application of powder and mineral foundation.

I love that Real Techniques have made three brush sets, that comes with a Panoramic Case which can be used as both a brush-case-bag and as a stand, see picture 4, 6 and 7. These cases also have extra room for other brushes, as you can se on picture 5, and since you can buy single RT brushes, there will be perfect room to put them there. Plus, the extra room is perfect for other brushes too ๐Ÿ˜‰

OVERALL, my first impression is really great and I’m definitely going to do a review when I’ve tried them out!

Have you tried any of the Real Techniques brushes? What did you think? What are some of your favourite brushes? Let me now in the comments below ๐Ÿ™‚

Have a nice day
